One of the biggest fashion trends of 2025 is the return of beautiful leopard print. Personally, leopard print is one of those timeless patterns that will never go out of style. Whether you are naturally bold with fashion or a little more cautious, leopard print can instantly add personality and extra confidence to your look and wardrobe.

For this post I styled seven different looks without feeling like it’s too much.

Leopard Print Skirt and White Top

For Look One I chose a maxi skirt with a chiffon material in a dark shade of leopard print which I paired with a cropped white tank top and plain white trainers. The neutral top and shoes make the skirt the star of the show. This is a very basic layer you can start with and elevate with jewellery and accessories.

I chose a gold chain necklace and some silver pearl earrings (yes, I mix gold and silver jewellery) to complete the look. For colder days or maybe as an autumn outfit I would add a black or dark brown leather jacket to give it a bit of an edgy look.

Leopard Print Denim and Graphic T-shirt

Most of the clothing brands this year all had their own version of leopard print denim. I’m usually a skinny-jeans kind of woman but this time I chose a wide-leg pair, simply because it was comfortable and fun. Leopard print works so well with graphic T-shirts, so for this look I chose a graphic T-shirt with some colour—I found this Rolling Stones one at H&M.

To complement the red in the shirt I chose red pointy flats, hello Mary-Jane shoes (also making a comeback) that stick out just the right amount from my wide-leg denim.

I added a chunky gold bracelet and gold earrings then completed the look with a fiery red lip gloss from BLK.

Leopard Print Wide-Leg Linen Trousers and Cami Top

There is something that is just so comfortable about a pair of wide-leg linen trousers. It makes them lightweight , breezy and perfect to wear during hot summer months. For this outfit I chose a more yellow shade of leopard print paired with a black camisole and nude platform sandals. A great fit for summer or even autumn, you can also add a cardigan for those cooler evenings.

I completed the look with gold jewellery (I find gold just works so well with the leopard print and complements it beautifully) along with a sun hat for a cute day-date outfit.

Leopard Print Jumpsuit

If you are a jumpsuit lover like myself, then a leopard print jumpsuit is a must in your closet. It can come in handy for a night out with friends, a day at the park or when you just don’t know what to wear. It can be dressed up or down and offers so many possibilities.

I styled this one from Pick n Pay Clothing with some gold wedges and jewellery for an elegant night out. For cooler weather I would add a black blazer or even a denim jacket for a more casual fit.

Leopard Print Bodysuit and Shorts

Just a casual day at home or shopping in hot weather? This bodysuit from H&M is one of my favourites (I have four different colours, and it is one of my most-worn items). For this look I wanted to create a casual outfit paired with high-waisted paperbag shorts and some black platform sandals, although flats work just as well. A gold statement necklace helped the look come together beautifully.

The perfect outfit to stay at home all day or do a quick school run, but stunning enough for unexpected visitors or last-minute outings.

Leopard Print Denim and striped tube top

Mixing prints? I have never been a fan. Growing up and even most of my adult years I have always stuck with mixing my prints with neutrals or a solid colour. But with the changes in fashion in recent years I’ve embraced subtle print-mixing, especially stripes with leopard print.

For this look I chose a strapless, striped tube top (this top also works well with the leopard print maxi skirt and some sandals) with a wide-leg pair of denim pants and paired it with pointy Mary-Jane flats. The pointy shoes just work so well with the wide-leg denim; it gives a cute “peekaboo” effect without your shoes disappearing under the trousers.

The belt gives it a solid break in the waistline that is pleasing on the eye in my opinion. And for this look I chose silver jewellery to complement the white in the top.

Leopard Print Maxi Skirt and Bright-Coloured Top

This has been my favourite look to create. I paired my leopard print maxi skirt with a dark purple cami top. The back detail on this top is stunning (I love a pretty open-back top). The deep purple complements the skirt beautifully, and I paired it with tan block-heel sandals.

For jewellery I chose silver and pearls that work well with the top. The fine jewellery lends a soft, feminine and classy touch to the outfit.

Tips for Styling Leopard Print

Accessories

If you are new to wearing leopard print and don’t feel confident yet then start by adding some accessories first. A leopard print belt on a neutral outfit or a pair of leopard print shoes or sandals can elevate an otherwise simple outfit.

Neutrals

Leopard print is a bold and beautiful pattern and you can keep it simple and elegant by pairing it with neutrals like black, beige, brown or even denim. You can also treat leopard print as a neutral in itself, and it works beautifully with solid colours.

Denim

Denim is one of those items that you can style with anything, and denim and leopard print are a match made in heaven. The casual and effortless look of denim complements the bold contrast of leopard print, making it wearable for everyday. It can be dressed up or down just by changing your shoes and accessories.

Dress It Up

When styled right leopard print is glamorous and edgy. Some pretty wedges or strappy heels paired with some gold jewellery make a gorgeous outfit for a night out. The key here is sleek styling, minimal accessories, elegant hair, and wearing it with confidence.

Pattern Mixing

If you’re feeling adventurous and confident then leopard print can be mixed with other patterns like stripes or checks. Try to keep the colour palette similar so the outfit doesn’t feel overwhelming.

Bold Colours

You don’t have to be boring and always pair leopard print with just neutrals. Bold pops of colour can make your outfit stand out even more. Red is a classic pairing, but dark purple and hot pink look striking with leopard.

Leopard print is versatile, stylish, and easy to wear once you know how to style and pair it. Whether you stick to subtle touches or go all out, it’s a print that works for every style personality.
