Hi there! I’m Marinda. I’m a first-time mama to my sunshine child Kay, wife to my best friend Gav, and the heart behind this little corner on the internet called About life.

I was born and raised in South Africa but now I’m soaking up the sunshine and humidity (hi there frizz!) in the Philippines. My days are a mix of chasing toddler giggles, hunting down the perfect shoes, and proving you can still wear that stunning outfit even with mom hair and nowhere to go.

This blog is where fashion, beauty, and everyday life come together, It’s also where I celebrate the beautiful and chaotic reality of motherhood, because life’s too short to pretend it’s perfect.

I started this blog to share my journey as I navigate motherhood and rediscover my personal style. A journey of a woman finding herself again, embracing this new chapter in her life in a good and comfortable way.
